Title: Erratic spin cycle
Post by: Joatha on March 02, 2010, 08:12:24 PM
My Atlantis seems to be having issues getting to the spin/drain cycle. It fills, drains, agitates and does just fine right up to the point where it needs to spin. Once the timer hits the spin cycle, it performs erratically. Sometimes it will spin and sometimes it doesn't. I can usually back up to the spin cycle and restart it and it will work.

I've also taken it back to the rinse cycle and followed it. A couple of times it has started and a couple of times it just gave me a buzzing sound (classic electrical buzzing) from the timer area (not from down within). I can push the knob in and move it a little and pull the knob back out and it will go just fine.

All of this seems to point to replacing the timer. Just wanted to see if I am on the right path.

Thanks for your help!
