Title: Front load loud banging
Post by: centralappliance on November 09, 2009, 08:45:03 PM
I looked at a well used front load Kenmore washing mashine. When the drum starts to spin it sounds normal but when it ramps up to high speed it starts to knock very loud. It seems internal to the drum. Can someone help

Model 970-CA2062-00

The spider support behind the spinner has corroded loose and broken on one spoke. I can tell you this without looking :)

Thanks for your help. Is it worth repairing. Im not sure who makes this one, is there a source for a parts diagram?

Go to Sears.ca to look up the machine and order the spinner assy. This is a Frigidaire made unit.
