Hi,

Please post the model number for us.
You can find the model number on the model/serial number tag that is located on the dishwasher.

The diagram below will show you were to look for it, thanks.

I updated the topic to include the correct model number information, thanks.

Did you get your dishwasher repaired or do you still need help?

Check the drain hose for kinks or restrictions.
Is the drain connected to a garbage disposal under the sink?

If so remove the hose from the disposal and look in both ends to see if there is food, grease, etc. plugging things up.

the dishwasher drains fine if I push the drain button, it just doesn't drain by itself after the cycle.  the water sits in there and stinks, if I don't manually drain it

Here's an answer that seems to fit:

Your electronic control is bad. If you can manually drain the machine but it won't do so automatically, then this is the  only logical conclusion. The drain pump is energised during the last 1.5-2 minutes at the end of every wash cycle, as the Tech Sheet (http://www.servicematters.com/docs/wiring/Tech%20Sheet%20-%208572216.pdf) shows.

Your dishwasher is no more crappy than any other these days.
