Title: Whirlpool Model WRV986FDEM01 , IR emitter control board LED is flickering

Hi All, I am a new to this forum and need some info . The in-door ice maker has just stopped working. The lower ice maker is working so I know it is not a water supply issue. I checked the IR LED emitter board in the in -door unit and it is flickering ( a dim on and  then off about 3 or 4 times a second) . I believe this is the cause of the ice maker not working because the Receiver board is not getting enough light ,and the unit "thinks" the ice bin is full. 
 I do not want to replace the Emitter board until checking the voltages going to the emitter board.
I am looking for the wiring diagrams and schematics for this Fridge so I can proceed.

If you haven't already try unpluggingi the refrigerator for 5 minutes and plug it back in. Many times on these Whirlpool refrigerators a computer glitch can be removed by simply disrupting power to the unit. But not always.

 Thanks Harold for the reply. I found the wiring and circuit diagrams hidden under the plastic cap on the upper right side door hinge. The voltages going to the IR emitter were correct and after further internet searching I learned that the flickering LED is a normal function.
 I believe this problem was caused by the left side door being cracked  open for about 6 hours while we were not at home. The upper ice maker motor got out of sync and the area froze up with excess frost.
I was able to fix the problem by turning off the upper ice maker for a few days and letting the frost evaporate and then re setting the upper ice maker motor to its home position using the service mode.
