Title: Maytag dishwasher leaking on weird spot
Post by: Dustin1187 on April 06, 2021, 09:02:55 PM
Hello,

I have a 2018 Maytag dishwasher that's been leaking in the front right corner, just below the float switch. I've tried re-leveling the dishwasher, and replaced the inlet valve -- still leaks in that one spot about mid-way through the cycle (please see attached photo >> it's leaking from the right corner of that white plastic part).

Any thoughts on what I might wanna try next would be very appreciated.

Thanks,

Your leak is originating from overfill assembly.  Pry open the white plastic cage so that you can release the stem from the water float. Once the float is removed you'll see a nut that snugs up the assembly. Tighten the nut if it is loose. If that doesn't work then the gasket that sits between the tub and the float switch assembly will need replacement.
