Title: Whirlpool Cabrio sounds like a jet engine in spin
Post by: Anawim on December 30, 2008, 09:08:15 AM
I have a two year old Cabrio that sounds like it's taking off the runway in the spin cycle.  It didn't sound this loud when we first bought it.  What could be causing the increase in decibels?

Model Number: WTW6400SW2 icon

What is your model number?
Sounds like tub bearings to me.

My model number is WTW6400SW2.  How do I replace the tub bearings?

As long as you are not on dial-up, you can probably download the Cabrio Manual (http://repair2000.com/Library/CABRIOHEWASHER.pdf). All you ever needed to know, but were afraid to ask...

I updated the first post to include the model number.
