Try what I just did...went to the Search box and typed "no ice". Lots of solutions!

Put some water in the ice maker and see if it will kick out some ice if it does then replace the water valve. If it does not then let me know.

I looked up the chute in the freezer and it had a chunk of ice blocking the water flow.I used a small screwdriver and a hot hairdryer to get rid of the ice.It worked for a day not filling all the way in the ice tray. But I noticed today that it stopped making ice and again there is a small piece of ice jamming the chute.I have not changed the water filter for 4 years. The water coming out the door is really slow.Would a new filter clear this problem up?

your water valve is dripping like a faucet, replace it.

Would a new water filter help the freezer to start making ice again?Does a older filter keep enough water from entering the ice maker that would cause it to stop making ice,or the water valve just shot?

Captain the dilithium crystals have failed.
Scotty can you repair it?
It will be real tricky.
Go for it scotty.
Captain I can replace the crytals but it will take some time.
Scotty we do not have that much time, the Klingons have dripped frozen, and clogged the dispenser, if you don't do something fast we will have a neutral zone.
Captain I have power now(new water valve) but only impulse. You will need to wait till the system can come up.
Scotty I need all you can give me now, what is it going to take?
Replace the main filter and purge the system by adding liquid directly to the core reactor(ice mold), make sure the system is clean so the chillers can work all propah and send me a 12 pack. :D

Okay,I went out and bought a new water filter.I cleaned the chute in the freezer from the ice with the mighty hair dryer.A little ice came out but then replaced everything and put water in the ice maker.I then installed the filter, and let the water run in the door until an air pocket rushed out.Now the water in the door is coming out a lot faster and seems like with more pressure.I waited for awhile and it kicked out some ice in the bucket. We can only hope this did the trick. If it is not filled the ice bucket by morning then I would assume that the water valve needs replaced.Am I correct in that?
I want to thank you all your help,

It may take 24 hours to fill the bucket. Rome was not built in a day.

Just a heads up...the filters should be changed every 6 months. They do not last for a year like the manufacturers would have you believe. Certainly not 4 years  ;)

Yeah.I never gave it a thought until it stopped making ice.But now I have a full ice bucket in the freezer and everyone is happy.I looked on the filter when I bought it and it says to change every 6 months. It seems like that is awful soon but I know the kids dont really use a lot of the water that comes out,but again I want to thank everyone for the help I recieved.Thankfully it was just a simple filter change that was long overdue.
Thanks again,
Larry
