Title: Maytag MFX2876DRM00 no ice
Post by: Stryped on March 24, 2019, 08:31:24 PM
I can unplug the emitter and plug it back in and the led status light will come on like I think it is supposed to. However, when i check back later it is always out. I have been looking for directions online on what wires on the harness to connect together to bypass the optics, however all the instructions online are for a pre 2002 refrigerator and the wire colors are different than what I have. Can anyone help me?
I appreciate it!

Does black to black with the white stripe help?

The self test shows the emitter and receiver are working, but i am not sure because the receiver light does not stay on. Can someone help me as i have been without ice for weeks! I had a no ice condition before, and they replaced the ice maker under warranty.
