Title: LG Fridge LFX25978SB-01 Ice buildup in freezer
Post by: AlphaApp on March 17, 2019, 04:50:19 PM
Been out of the game for awhile as I tend to my mom who has dementia.  Am back with a running start.  Customer's complaint is there's ice build-up on freezer floor.  First thought is drain, but she says they cleaned it and problem is still there.  Obviously, I'll still be checking the drain.  I haven't been on site yet but could use the manual and any wisdom if you've seen this.

Thanks!

Update:  Ice build up due to ice-clogged drain.  Steamed it open and then installed an "augmented heat conductor" ie a #10 copper wire.
