Title: Electrolux fpuh19d7lf1 icemaker not working
Post by: BFL on February 20, 2019, 10:56:19 PM
I have replaced the water inlet valve, the line is not blocked or frozen and the water pressure is good and still no ice. It does not do anything. The harness to the inlet water valve was tested at 24 volts, is this the problem? Should it read 120volts? Or is the ice maker itself no good? How do I test the icemaker? Or is my electronic control board the problem.? Thanks for any help.

water valve works on 120v. if fill tube is not frozen then ice maker is bad

Below is info on your unit.

The ice maker looks like it is independent of the control board.

The 24 volts you see is probably just ghost voltage.

Try forcing a cycle.

Check the freezer temperature to be sure it is around zero degrees F.
The ice maker will not work if the temperature is too high even if food remains frozen.

Thanks found it . So if the test cycle does not work does it mean I need a new icemaker?

Yes if you have 120 volts at the ice maker.

Or if you want to investigate more below is a link to a service manual which has an excellent section about ice makers.
