Title: wtw4850xq0 Agitation Problem
Post by: JohnA on February 12, 2018, 09:00:04 PM
My washer is having agitation problems. It does everything fine but agitate. I will just spin instead of agitate. The dog cogs are fine. It doesn't try to agitate back and forth. It just tries to go in one direction. My whirpool is causing a whirpool which wraps the clothes around the agitator.

Under the washer by the motor.

Sounds like the control board is not pausing and reversing the voltage to the motor.

scrapiron is right on that to but these washers are throw aways if it comes to that.Look for broken wires down by motor and capacitor and here is a video that help this guy.
