Title: GE Washer Model GTW460ASJ5WW
Post by: Joey Bullock on March 13, 2017, 11:42:01 PM
This machine has chunks broken out of the agitator blades and the agitator needs to be replaced.  Does this agitator come off by pulling up with a rope or strap?  I don't see a removable cap under the bleach dispenser.  Thanks, Joey.

OK.  I've never worked on one of these newer GE washers and didn't want to break anything.  Thank you.

I'm looking at a parts breakdown.  I see the Agitator Base Assembly (what actually needs to be replaced), the Auger, and a Screw.  Do you remove (pull) the Auger from the Agitator Base Assembly and then remove the screw to remove the Agitator Base Assembly?  Thanks, Joey
