Title: Whirlpool Duet WFW9200SQA11 three beeps on Start button
Post by: Jumpem on July 16, 2016, 10:32:48 AM
I have a Whirlpool Duet WFW9200SQA11 washer. When the Start button is pressed three rapid beeps are made. Nothing else happens after that (i.e. the door attempting to latch).

All of the other controls on the front panel seem to work. Any suggestions on what the three beeps mean or what to look at would be appreciated.

Triple beep some times indicates the control doesn't see a shut door . Check to see if if the push botton on the door lock is not broken

The beeps are when you press start or power?  If you get the beeps when you press start then it is the door switch sensed as being open.  Connector dcs3 on main control, it should read open and closed with the door open and closed.
