Title: ICP TempStar NUGK075DG07
Post by: Jesster on February 17, 2015, 11:02:43 PM
I have a friend with a ICP NUGK075DG07 furnace.  He needs a new flame sensor and the one we took out of it doesn't match the single tube-single wire sensors on the parts sites.  I have two pictures one which shows the square edges and length and the other picture has the three electrical contacts (only two of which were used).  Is this an OEM flame sensor? It looks adjustable, which is usually not the case for factory parts like this.  The printing says: CAM STAT L59-78-A.  Anyone have any ideas.  The part I found was a 1380679 ICP sensor which supposedly replaced the original 1001358.

Be careful what you r looking for. This is not a flame sensor. Its a main limit switch, adjustable 120-250F with a fixed differential of 30F. They must be replaced with the OEM part. Match the temperature setting of the old part and test it, make sure it operates properly. Limit switch should shut the burner down no later than 3-3.5 minutes after the main burner ignition, when the blower fails.
Cam-Stats are still available, you should be able to get the same part.
