Title: Lg wt5170 clacking and squealing in spin and sometimes code LE
Post by: Newguy99 on September 10, 2014, 10:40:22 PM
I have a returned Lg wt5170hv it's about 2 years old. My wife was washing clothes and it started to squeal and quit with error LE. If I manually turn the agitator (if that what it called in new models) it provides resistance and make a squeal or clacking noise. The tub will turn and make the clacking noise if I do it manually as well. Is this the bearing/clutch? I found a part for $100 and am handy enough to switch it out but I don't want to waste time/money if it's something else
