Title: speedqueen transmission change out. what parts?

Hi
haven't done one of these in years. Model SWT221WN ,, a coin op
replacing trans because of no agitation .Is it a good idea to change seals ,bearing, and or what?
since ill have it all apart! ;)

That model number is questionable, I can't find it on parts sites.  If I was changing a transmission, though, I'd go ahead and put in a bearing kit; top bearing, various spacers, and seal.

SWT221WN   looks like about 10/15 years old regular speedqueen, just with coin box on top

I have done over a thousand of these,  no kidding.    You need the Tranny,   the seal kit (order the alliance number kit 495P3,  cheaper than the R9900552)  a top triangle bearing 40004201P.    Most of the time,   the lower bearing does not need replacement.     Be careful if you are using a puller on the metal hub on the transmission.      If your replacing tranny,   then it doesn ' t matter cause it is already bad.   But you can screw up tranny if too much pressure is put on from a puller.      If Hub doesn't come off,   I use a 4 inch circular cutter to slice two slits in each side,   then split it off with a chisel.    Hard to get a sawsall in.     If triangle top bearing is siezed on tranny,   remove the three bolts and then use a cutter or dremel to cut off bearing.     Also,  read instructions and put vasiline on the areas they tell you to.     

This is one of the hardest tranny jobs to do if they are stuck together.    Once you do 20 or 30 of them,   they get easier.
