Title: Vintage Detroit Jewel Pilot Trouble
Post by: BPmax on July 21, 2014, 05:49:57 PM
Old Detroit Jewel gas stove.
It has a push pilot: Depress the button and it throws flame to all burners.  However the button, all the way depressed, sorta puts itself out.  Hoping someone has some ideas for me.  I cleaned the holes out (removed easily)
I tried to attach video showing this...

The small adjustment screw next to the button, try turning it down slightly. You could ( with help) hold the button down and adjust it lower until it no longer blows out. That has no air adjustment so that's the best I can say.
