Title: TE1 on LG Dryer...thermistor checking out ok.
Post by: Matt Benzing on November 24, 2013, 04:09:51 PM
I have an LG DLE5977 dryer that was making a loud rumbling noise. I replaced the faulty roller but when I turned the dryer back on I got a TE1 error. Find it hard to believe that the thermistor would just happen to go out at the same time that I did a replacement. I've taken out the thermistor and checked the resistance and it seemed fine. What else could it be? I thought I might have bumped something loose when I took the drum out but I don't see anything that appears loose.

Thanks in advance.

May have bumped the connections somewhere during dis assembly. Thermistor is a variable resistor and quite frankly, do not go bad. check the clear 6 pin connector at the main pcb... O0 O0
