Title: Whirlpool Washer Model LSQ9564MQ0 Basket Seems Loose
Post by: dksagun on September 17, 2013, 08:15:21 PM
Noticed my Whirlpool Washer was vibrating excessively.  Shimmed up one of the rear legs seemed to improve it quite a bit but I am still experiencing some vibration with heavier loads. Noticed the waher basket seems to have a lot of play in it when not running.  I can deflect it about two inches on the edge.  Do I have a problem here?

The rear legs are self-leveling.  Instead of shimming, try pulling on the leg that's sticking.  Once you get it unjammed, lift up the back of the washer and set it back down.  A lot of play in the tub is normal.

If tub is leaning forward this spring may have rusted off?
