Title: Convert LG WD-3274RHD Washer-Dryer to 220?
Post by: 2tdecj4AeNo9o on June 04, 2013, 08:42:33 PM
I own an LG WD-3274RHD combo washer-dryer. This is a 110V unit. I am in the process of moving to Europe and was wondering if it is possible to swap a small number of parts to make this into the European equivalent model?

Does anyone have any ideas or opinions around this?

Thanks,

Alan

Perhaps I should have provided more background. I realize that I could use an external transformer, but given that this product was made for both markets, has anyone any experience in ordering the different parts (motor drive board?) Power board? (I'm guessing) and replacing them with the 220V parts - effectively making this unit a 220V unit (natively). Is this a practical approach or is there something in the way of this working? (Say a motor that relies on phase (unlikely).)

Thanks for the useful pointer to the transformer FAQ though.
