Post by: grs494 on April 18, 2013, 12:17:07 PM
Replaced the CCU and have no lights on at the control unit.  Dont' know what else to do.  Original closed the door and two light came on the control lock and door lock lights and unit has no worked since.  Read thru some blogs and replaced the ccu but still not working.  I have power to the ccu and the control unit but no lights.  Is the control unit bad also?

Give us a model #. Have you put unit into a dagnostic mode? Have u tried putting old ccu in to see if lights come on?

model# is 11046462501

I tried the old CCU and it doesn't work either...

Everything I read before says that i's the ccu but it doesn't fix it.  I am unable to do any diagnostics because I cant get the control to come on at all.

Try disconnecting the 3-wire communication cable from the motor controller.  If you get a response from the user interface, replace the motor control.  If not, replace the user interface.

You can disconnect it from from the ccu.  It's a plug that has 3 pink wires, usually on the left side of the ccu. I'm leaning toward the user interface being the problem but this is an easy way to test the motor control.

disconnect it and then put power back to the unit or disconnect while the power is hooked up?

There are three pink wire connectors there.  The motor control is down on the bottom right hand side of the washer if you are looking at it?

So if I get power and response back to the interface control the motor control is bad and if I don't the interface is bad?
