Title: DANBY mod# dwm5500w-1
Post by: bigbuck on November 10, 2012, 01:10:24 PM
Just looked @ a danby front loader washer, real loud in spin, like bearings are shot. Looks like the only way to tear down from the top. Is there a service manual for this model?  Any other techs come across this piece of ----.

Never even seen one let alone worked on a Danby. Also could not find a service manual.
Maybe someone else will be able to help.

I know this is an old topic but has anyone ever found a service manual for this washer. The first one I've seen. No power to the hot water valve. Is it right that the cold water valve would be getting 260 volts?
