Every now and then I get email from people that are having trouble finding the correct part for there appliance.

Here is one of the emails I got the other day asking for help.

Am having trouble finding a heating element for a old GE clothes dryer.
The model number is DDE5300GBLAD. Do you know were I could order one?

This was a easy part to locate as I just entered the model number in the part detective box on our Appliance Repair Forum.

When I clicked Find Part it returned a whole list of parts for his dryer.

After getting a list of all the parts for his dryer I simply scrolled down the list to find the correct part.
